Beeinflusst durch Progressive- und Groove-Metal kreieren Sie Ihren ganz eigenen rhytmisch treibenden Sound, verfeinert mit melodischen Phrasen um den Zuhörer auf eine Reise in die Tiefen des menschlichen Verstandes zu entführen.
Ihre Musik ist eine Kombination aus klassischem Metal, der gekonnt New- und Oldschool verbindet um eins zu beweisen:

"HOSTAGE" veröffentlichten Ihre gleichnamige EP im Februar 2019 auf Spotify. Ersichtlich aus Ihren Streams und Statistiken konnten
sie bereits eine große Fanbase für sich einnehmen, auch international.
Sie nahmen am "Tollrockerz" Bandcontest teil und spielten auf der Mainstage des Tollrockfestivals vor einem bunt gemischten Publikum und bewiesen damit dass ihr persönlicher Stil eine breite Masse an Leuten anspricht.
Mit der Veröffentlichung Ihres Songs "Blow It Up" erregten Sie größeres Aufsehen und spielten über ihren lokalen Erfolg hinaus, diverse Shows in Aachen, Düren, Köln und Eupen (BE).

"HOSTAGE" is a german Metalcore band, heavily influenced by Progressive- as well as Groove-metal bands of the last decades. The band incorporates several tools to create a headbanging sound, paired with melodic hooks to let the crowd explore the abyss of the human mind.
Their music is an evolution of the "classic" Metal, that unites Old- and Newschool to prove:
Rock. Is. Not. Dead.
"HOSTAGE" released their "Self-Titled"-EP in February 2019, and according to their streams and stats acquired quite a lot of fans internationally as well.
The band participated in the "Tollrockerz‘ Band Contest" and played on the main stage of the "Tollrock" -Festival in front of a diverse audience due to "HOSTAGE"’s wide-range of people their style
speaks to.
With the release of their single "Blow It Up" they started to gain more attention in the niche leading up to some local shows near Aachen, Düren, Cologne as well as Eupen (BE) - their first success internationally.
